Today Ospedaletti is an elegant, seaside resort situated in the centre of the beautiful bay between Sanremo and Bordighera. The characteristic historical centre of the resort winds along the coastal area while the newer buildings have been built out towards the hill.

The whole area is immersed in lush, subtropical vegetation. There are numerous palm trees, eucalyptus trees, mimosas and a myriad of cacti.

The splendid main street which everyone calls “The walkway” or “Boulevard”, is surrounded by well kept gardens and every now and then there is an unexpected view of the sea.

The beaches in Ospedaletti have lots of amenities, bars and restaurants.

The inland area is famous for its typical, local products and cuisine: olive oil, pesto and the famous “torta verde” (a type of quiche).
